Spray Valve System
These air-operated spray valves coat an area instead of placing a bead. All three have a SUS303F body and a tungsten carbide seat and needle, and suit low to medium viscosity fluids. The SDV-200 is a low-pressure, low-flow external-mix valve for a fine, even spray. The SSDV-200 and SSDV-20 are selective spray valves that can lay down a bead spray or a line spray; the SSDV-20 offers internal or external mixing.

| Model | Spray | Mixing | Operating air | Max. material pressure |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SDV-200 | Area spray (WS, FS, MS nozzles) | External | 0.4 – 0.5 MPa | 0.7 MPa |
| SSDV-200 | Line or bead spray | External | Above 0.4 MPa | 0.6 MPa |
| SSDV-20 | Line or bead spray | Internal or external | Above 0.4 MPa | 0.6 MPa |
Frequently asked questions
What controls a spray valve?
The SVC-300 spray valve controller (time, steady and interval modes, foot switch or NPN start).
How is spray width adjusted?
On the selective valves, with the micrometer head, the nozzle angle and the spray pressure.
What viscosity can they spray?
Low to medium viscosity. For higher viscosity or metered flow, look at the Pro Spray Pump (PSP).
