Pro Pump Controller

A PROCON controller runs a 1K progressive cavity pump (PCP). It sets the dispense volume and the dispense mode (time, steady or metering) and stores 15 programs, so you change materials or parts by changing channel, not by re-tuning. Both models take a start signal from a robot or PLC (contact input or NPN open collector) and send an end signal back. Pick the PROCON-100 for a compact unit with a 2.8-inch screen, or the PROCON-1000 for a 5-inch touch screen.

Model Display Modes Programs Weight Power
PROCON-100 2.8 in TFT LCD Time, Steady, Metering 15 1.8 kg AC 220 V, 200 VA max
PROCON-1000 5 in TFT LCD Time, Steady, Metering 15 3.2 kg AC 220 V, 200 VA max

How to choose

  • If the pump is on a desktop or Cartesian robot and an operator sets it up, either PROCON works; the PROCON-1000's larger screen is easier on the floor.
  • If a PLC or HMI must set parameters and read status over a network, use a Pro External Controller (PEC) with Modbus instead.
  • If you run a 2K PDP pump, you need a PDC Pro-Duo controller, which adds ratio control.

Frequently asked questions

Which pumps does the PROCON controller run?

The 1K Pro Pump progressive cavity pumps (PCP series). For the 2K PDP pumps use a PDC controller.

Can a robot or PLC trigger the dispense?

Yes. Both models accept a contact input or NPN open-collector start signal and return an NPN open-collector end signal. A flow sensor and external control can also be connected.

What comes with the controller?

A motor cable, I/O cable, power cable and terminal block.
