Pro Spray Pump (PSP)
A Pro Spray Pump (PSP) is a progressive cavity pump with a spray nozzle on the end: it meters the material by volume and atomizes it with air, so the flow stays the same even when viscosity changes. PSP-015 and PSP-050 cover 0.1 to 0.6 mL/min; PSP-150 and PSP-500 cover 0.3 to 18 mL/min. All run 10 to 50,000 cps at ±1% dosing accuracy with a 5 to 30° spray angle.
Compare models
| Model | Flow | Viscosity | Spray angle | Accuracy | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PSP-015 | 0.1 – 0.6 mL/min | 10 – 50,000 cps | 5 – 30° | ±1% | 420 g |
| PSP-050 | 0.1 – 0.6 mL/min | 10 – 50,000 cps | 5 – 30° | ±1% | 420 g |
| PSP-150 | 0.3 – 18 mL/min | 10 – 50,000 cps | 5 – 30° | ±1% | 610 g |
| PSP-500 | 0.3 – 18 mL/min | 10 – 50,000 cps | 5 – 30° | ±1% | 610 g |
How to choose
- If you need under 0.6 mL/min, start with PSP-015 or PSP-050.
- If you need more than 0.6 mL/min, start with PSP-150 or PSP-500.
- If you only need a bead or a line of spray switched on and off, a selective spray valve may be simpler.
Frequently asked questions
What controls a PSP?
The PSC-100 Pro Spray Controller: 32 program channels, time, steady and auto modes, RS232 interface.
What air does it need?
Spray air from 0 to 500 kPa through a 4 mm hose; material enters through a BSPT 1/4 port.
How fast does the pump turn?
0 to 120 rpm.
